Opera Cooperates With Ledger Capital To Explore The Application Of Blockchain Technology

Norwegian web browser developer Opera Software AS is engaged in a transaction with the consulting and financial service of Blockchain Ledger Capital to study the use of blockchain technology to improve its product basket.

Both companies plan to explore further applications and uses of blockchain technology, as well as growth opportunities that can be applied to Opera products.

Ledger Capital provides strategic, technology and financial advisory services to a variety of infrastructure blocks, decentralized applications, multinational corporations and government-supported projects and initiatives.

Opera has already integrated a crypto-wallet and secured investments from other leading crypto-companies such as Bitmain, a Chinese bitcoin miner and ASIC chip Creator.

Founded in Norway, Opera announced in early August that it is set to launch a new web browser for desktop computers with built-in access to a mobile crypto-wallet.

The new desktop browser will allow users to authenticate web 3.0 transactions and decentralized applications (Dapp) using an Android phone.

Opera was the first major browser to integrate a crypto-wallet that saved Internet users from having to install separate Dapp browsers or crypto-wallet extensions.
