DasCoin boasts an interoperable blockchain

What is interoperability and why is it the future of Dascoin?

The future of blockchain depends entirely on interoperability and it’s a word that you’re going to hear time and time again as we move towards an even more technology driven and dominated future.  Interoperability is integral to blockchain’s success going forward.

What is Interoperability?

Interoperability is defined as the extent to which different products or systems can interact with each other without restrictions or special effort from a human. Two systems that can exchange and use information between each other are described as being interoperable. An example of this is the way Microsoft Office programs work together to send and receive different types of graphs, tables and other information between themselves when you’re working on a project. You use interoperable programs every day without even knowing it, like when you send and receive email (the systems that govern your emails are all interoperable).

So why is interoperability so important to the future of blockchain?

Two words. Smart Contracts.

By allowing blockchains to become interoperable in every way possible, we really open up the opportunities of Smart Contracts like never before. Imagine if you’re applying for a new passport, and all you need to do is enter your information, upload a picture, and you can print (or even 3D print) your passport in 5 minutes after the blockchain communicates with your government records. All because the integration of interoperable Smart Contracts.

By allowing interoperability between blockchains and other applications, we can utilise Smart Contracts like never before, using the interoperability of technology to power processes that have always had to be manual because of security purposes.

Has blockchain Interoperability been achieved yet?

One company is already trying to bring interoperable Smart Contracts to the fore. DasCoin a hybrid cryptocurrency who run their own blockchain (dasexplorer.com), are already making great strides in this domain.

DasCoin are developing their Smart Contracts to be interoperable with different platforms. This means that their Smart Contracts can take information from all sorts of sources and use it on the blockchain without restriction.

One of their main efforts is their global payment system, DasPay, which allows consumers to purchase products in over 60 million merchants all around the world. The system uses the same technology as Visa and Mastercard to reach all corners of the globe and provide payment services on nearly anything.

With this system connected to interoperable Smart Contracts, this could open all sorts of doors for global commerce.

Interoperability is the Future

Without interoperability, the future of blockchain will become fractured and will never see true acceptance into the mainstream. By adding interoperable features into their blockchain, other currencies will have a change to stay relevant in the fast-moving digital world. But for now, they still have a fair amount to do if they want to catch up to DasCoin.
