COINTEXT BECAME AVAILABLE IN COLOMBIA AND THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

The CoinText platform, which allows users to send and receive cryptocurrencies via SMS and without a smartphone or Internet, has been also launched in Colombia and the Dominican Republic, becoming available in 37 countries.

The CoinText team emphasizes that even with the oldest mobile phone, anyone can easily send and receive supported altcoins, including Litecoin, Dash and Bitcoin Cash. The founder of a startup and its developer Vin Armani said:

In November, the CoinText platform, launched in Taiwan, Hungary, Estonia, Puerto Rico and Slovenia. In December, the platform became available in Ukraine, Italy, Turkey, Argentina, Hong Kong and Palestine.

Cointext is especially popular in Latin America, as well as in other countries. The number of users of the platform in other countries is growing. The platform does not require separate registration or storage of private keys. Many users from countries with a difficult economic situation see cryptocurrency as an opportunity to save their savings.
