Bosch Has Developed A Device For Collecting Data From IoT Devices And Selling Them On IOTA

Bosch has released a device capable of collecting data from IoT devices in real time and selling it to the IOTA data market, the company said in a press release.

A recent blog post, Bosch started with a quote of the Nobel laureate Milton Friedman on the virtues of anonymous transfer of funds through the Internet. The company also continued to describe the IOTA ecosystem, its advantages over Bitcoin and the reasons why Bosch chose the platform as a partner.

According to Bosch, by 2020, the world will have more than 20 billion connected devices, each of which will produce an immeasurable amount of data that will become the “oil of the future”, according to the promo video. At the end of last year, IOTA announced the launch of a major platform to monetize data using micropayments through distributed ledger technology and created in partnership with such giants as Microsoft, Fujitsu, Bosch and Deutsche Bank Telekom.

Users of the system will be able to either sell or buy data that will be transmitted using MAM (Masked Authenticated Messaging) technology. Bosch has developed a versatile XDK development kit, which is a programmable sensor device capable of collecting data from the Internet of Things in real time:

“The Bosch XDK can be used to collect certain real-time data and sell it through the IOTA data market.”

MIOTA tokens immediately responded to Bosch’s publication with a 4% rise, and trading volume increased from $ 4 million to $ 13 million. Over the past few months, the cost of tokens ranges from 45 to 60 cents.
