EXCHANGE CRYPTOPIA REPORTED PROBLEMS IN THE SECURITY SYSTEM
New Zealand cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia has suspended its current activity, informing users about the” significant losse ” due to a breach in the security system.

The report also says that the exchange notified the authorities about the incident. The investigation is conducted by the New Zealand police and the local office for combating high-tech crime. Trading operations on the platform will be suspended until the problem is solved.
Note that during the bullish rally Cryptopia was quite popular, because it presents a huge number of altcoins.
Recall that at the end of last year, thanks to the “51% attack” on the cryptocurrency AurumCoin, an unknown user withdrew from Cryptopia cryptocurrency worth more than $500 thousand.
